2011 Fashion For Paws Model Fundraiser: Kaitlyn Ferrara

NORTHWEST -- While taking in the backlit silhouettes of both the White House and the Washington Monument Wednesday evening, Washingtonians filled the rooftop of the W Washington, D.C. for a fundraising event hosted by Fashion for Paws (F4P) model Kaitlyn Ferrara.

With the fun but challenging task of raising $3,000 over the next couple of months in order to actually walk the runway at this year’s soon-to-sellout April 9th show, each F4P model is now engaged in a friendly competition to see who can raise the most amount of money in support of the District’s most lovable four-legged residents.

And thanks to the generosity of P.O.V -- which donated a portion of the evening’s handcrafted cocktail bar tab to F4P – and a dozen or so silent auction sponsors (e.g., Wink Boutique, J&G Steakhouse, Georgetown Cupcake, Gilt Groupe, one80 Salon, etc.), Kaitlyn managed to raise more than 80% of her fundraising goal in one night!
