Neiman Marcus Mazza Gallerie Jazzed For Fashion’s Night Out!

FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS -- Not even flash floods could stop Washingtonians from paddling out to celebrate Fashion Night Out at luxury retailer Neiman Marcus’ Mazza Gallerie location on Thursday night.

While sipping chilled glasses of champagne and SinLess Margaritas, guests were free to shop the store’s vast inventory of designer apparel and accessories, beauty products, and housewares, while jamming out to music courtesy of DJ Neekola.

In between makeovers at the Le Metier Beauté Beauty Bar, the District’s budding fashionistas sampled glasses of Bordeaux Red Wine Punch and snagged signed copies of celebrity mixologist Dan Searing’s latest book, The Punch Bowl, featuring 75 recipes to booze your way to a better punch.

Midway through the evening (and after feasting on a sumptuous buffet of hors d'oeuvres), attendees were ushered to the store’s second floor for a runway presentation, where live models showcased the latest in fall fashion.

Neiman’s very own Liberty Jones narrated the special ‘Fall Trends Runway Show’, as rows of style-hungry guests eyed some of the season’s most coveted items.

Plan on using lots of color blocking and start the hunt for the perfect faux fur vest now! Indeed, we are planning on sporting the Chanel puffer jacket and Prada cat-eye sunglasses on the ski slopes of our imaginary trip to St. Moritz…

Following the runway show, guests snapped their own chic pics inside the ‘Fashion’s Night Out Foto Booth’ and ended the evening swaying to the melodious tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, as performed by jazz crooner BJ Ram.
