DUPONT CIRCLE -- The dashing dancers who crowded this year’s
Jete Society Dance Party got even more dapper on Tuesday evening, during a private VIP reception inside the Dupont Circle showroom of
Alton Lane hosted by
Winston Lord and
Ashley Taylor.
The bespoke clothier’s second story atelier brimmed with VIP ticketholders to January’s popular ‘Mad Hatter’ bash, which itself served as a nod to The Washington Ballet’s upcoming performance of ‘ALICE (in wonderland)’ (April 11th-15th).
Guests were treated to plenty of gourmet hors d’oeuvres, while browsing Alton Lane’s growing collection of custom-made shirts, suits, tuxedos, and ties. And naturally, the space’s well-stocked bar (normally reserved just for customers) served as a popular hangout spot throughout the night, with plenty of scotch, bourbon, and craft beer selections up for grabs.
Yesterday’s celebration also served double-duty as a welcome party for the clothing company’s new Director of Business Development,
Lindsey Becker, who will be vacating her position as a Senior Account Executive for
DC Magazine on Friday.
Becker will help the designer label’s co-founders,
Peyton Jenkins and
Colin Hunter, expand Alton Lane’s national footprint, with a Boston showroom soon to open and subsequent locations on the drawing board thereafter.
Dapper dancers. Bespoke bash.
