And while
His Excellency Peter Ammon, Ambassador of The Federal Republic of Germany (the gala's Honorary Patron), was unable to attend due to the weekend’s ongoing NATO Summit in Chicago, plenty of other VIPs could be spotted mingling about, including museum Director
Judy A. Greenberg and
Ineke Kreeger.

The elegant night began with cocktails set amidst the Kreeger collection, followed by dinner in the Great Hall, Salon, and inside the Monet Gallery. Attendees were then provided with exclusive first look access to the museum’s new reflecting pool, as the memorable event concluded with a dessert buffet on the Sculpture Terrace set to live jazz music.
