NORTHWEST -- No stranger to controversy or reinvention,
SAX lounge will surely set tongues a-wagging again over the next few months in response to a new series of politically-centered caricature paintings it has commissioned to commemorate this year’s presidential election.
”Fight for the White House”.
Hungarian artist
Balage Balogh, who painted the swanky venue’s original murals, will unveil a new work every two weeks as part of the run, with the first two pieces already on display behind SAX’s gold-leafed doors.
”The Race Is On”.
SAX itself, of course, is experiencing a leadership transition of its own, as it moves away from its roots as a gourmet restaurant and instead refastens itself as more of a nighttime entertainment venue.
More on that later, but back to President Obama and Mitt Romney for now!
