Daisuke Utagawa will revisit his signature ‘subtraction’ cooking philosophy next week, with a special craft beer tasting menu at the restaurant’s Chevy Chase location.
For one night only on Tuesday, June 26th, dinner diners will be able to feast on a brand new six-course menu of Japanese cuisine presented in conjunction with beer expert
Jocelyn Cambier.
Lobster and Asparagus Suimono w/ Brasseurs Illimites double porter.
Priced at $85, the all-inclusive menu will feature
Edamame paired with
Port City pale ale;
Lobster and Asparagus Suimono (clear soup) with
Brasseurs Illimites double porter;
Flounder Carpaccio with White Soy and Truffle Sauce complemented by a surprise beer of
Brasseurs du Monde;
Honey and Soy Roasted Duck with
A l’Abri de La Tempete Corps Mort;
Spicy Broiled Mussels and
Coronado Islander IPA and a final course of
Nigiri Sushi paired with
Brasseurs Illimites Imperial Stout.
