Lifetime Television hosted a private charity event at the 2012 Republican National Convention benefiting non-profit
Got Your 6.
While a nearly hour-long performance by country music sensation
Sara Evans served as the evening’s primary entertainment, equally enthralling were the celebrity attendees who stopped-by to show their support.
The younger McCain wore a stunning Lafayette 148 dress.

Cindy and
Senator John McCain, in helping kickoff the concert, which was also attended by A+E Networks/Lifetime CEO
Abbe Raven and
Bill O'Reilly.
Both the senator and Cindy McCain stayed for Sara Evans' performance.
Prior to the start of Evans’ performance, VIPs answered questions from members of the international press, including Washington’s own
Yeas and Nays and

Nikki Schwab and
Judy Kurtz.

Tonight Show ‘intern’ with a warm handshake.

The spotlight soon shifted from the night’s guests to the third floor stage, however, as soon as Evans took charge of the microphone. She then proceeded to blast through her catalog of chart-topping hits in front of the intimate crowd, including her fan favorite cover of “I Could Not Ask For More”.
Beyond an amazing concert, Wednesday’s event was part of an ongoing effort to create opportunities for U.S. military veterans reintegrating into civilian life by Got Your 6 and Lifetime Television’s ‘Your Life. Your Time. Your Vote.’ campaign.
