WEST END -- The world’s most stylish five-year-old, Suri Cruise, stopped-by Avenue Suites’ plush A BAR terrace and lounge on Wednesday evening, for a private book signing party with blogger-turned-author Allie Hagan. Well, sort of…


In reality, the fashionable fete featured not recently separated Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ only child, but rather the embodiment of her snarky sartorially-minded alter ego, which also happens to be the same ‘voice’ featured in Hagan’s publishing debut.


Suri's Burn Book: Well-Dressed Commentary from Hollywood's Little Sweetheart picks up where the Washington-based author’s popular blog, Surisburnbook.tumblr.com, leaves off in profiling today’s celebrity and fashion-obsessed culture.


The 128-page hardcover provides readers with the same harsh, yet witty, perspective on pop culture that Hagan fans have come to enjoy, with everything from baby names to celebrity dynasties up for discussion.


Simultaneously, a gallery of approximately 100 full-color photographs are weaved into the written narrative in order to further engage readers.


Last night’s early evening bash saw dozens of well dressed D.C. notables turn out for the chance to meet Hagan and have a copy of their book signed by the plucky author.


Guests sipped on specialty cocktails curated and served-up by beverage and bar managers Brennan Adams and Sophie Penichet, respectively, such as the ‘Mini Harper-tini’, the ‘Heavy on the Milk’, and the ‘Pork Slap’.


It was an event that even little Suri might have enjoyed. Really. Or not.
