NORTHWEST -- Dance Trance enthusiasts and
Prevent Cancer Foundation young professionals united last night, in preparation for an exciting ‘flash mob’ appearance scheduled for Sunday, September 30th during the nonprofit’s annual
5K fundraising event to be held at Nationals Park.
Guests grooved and mixed alike, as they learned next week’s six choreographed routines and danced for 60 minutes to the musical prowess of
DJ STATT (aka David Rastatter).
Afterward, everyone took advantage of the Balance Gym location’s spectacular Thomas Circle rooftop to cool down and enjoy a complimentary happy hour.
A handful of lucky raffle participants even walked (or more likely danced) home with some coveted swag generously donated by
stila cosmetics and
Protein Bar.
Dance Trance (DT) is a cardio based fitness dance class for people who are looking for an exciting way to workout. At DT, participants learn routines to some of today’s hottest music while dancing the calories away.
Classes are offered Monday thru Sunday for both beginner and intermediate levels and new routines are choreographed weekly in order to keep the dances fresh.
Preventing cancer …to a beat!
