PENN QUARTER -- American-Asian eatery
901 Restaurant and Bar kicked-off the Halloween season a bit early this year, with an ‘Old Hallows Eve’-themed soiree on Wednesday night.

But not even a pop-in by respected ABC 7 anchor
Leon Harris was enough to scare Urban Adventures Companies CEO
David von Storch, who also was among the notables in attendance at the spooky soiree.
In addition to 901, von Storch, of course, owns and operates the Capitol City Brewing Company and Vida Fitness chains throughout the D.C. metro area, which provided him with plenty of reasons to ‘treat’ his delighted guests to a fun time last week.
Setting the soundtrack for the night was
DJ Steve Starks of
Nouveau Riche fame, while attendees mingled about the (intentionally) cobwebbed venue sipping Halloween-inspired cocktails, such as ‘The Bloody Bang’ and the ‘Midnight Aura’.
Pumpkins and fall foliage were all festively out on full display for the occasion and not even the occasional creepy crawler could prevent everyone from whole-heartedly digging into Executive Chef
Thomas Hall's fall menu, including a particularly memorable pulled pork sandwich specialty.
Spooky? Savory.
