NORTHWEST -- The holidays came early for
Capitol File Magazine, as the luxury lifestyle periodical was gifted three new team members in recent weeks.
Joining the magazine's Washington office as Associate Publisher is
Heather Zahn. Zahn, who holds an M.A. in Magazine Journalism from New York University and is also a graduate of the University of Maryland, most recently worked as the Director of Membership & Marketing at the private
City Club of Washington.
Also joining
Capitol File's recently expanded team are Senior Editor
Leslie Quander Wooldridge and Account Executive
Jessica Hurtt. Wooldridge is a former Senior Editor at
AARP The Magazine and Hurtt served as an Account Executive at
The Washington Post Apartment Showcase.

Capitol File President and Editor-in-Chief
Sarah Schaffer joined with the publication's other staffers to celebrate on Wednesday night, during an intimate reception for friends and family.
Held inside the recently renovated lounge of the
AKA White House extended stay hotel, the early evening bash brought together some 50 guests to fete the occasion.
It was a
Capitol way to kick-off the holiday season.
