NORTHWEST -- Nowhere was Illinois rock band
Fall Out Boy's sudden resurgence on the music landscape more apparent than in Washington over the weekend.

Fresh from a sold out show at the
9:30 Club on Friday night, lead bassist and lyricist
Pete Wentz was still going strong even as the clock ticked past the midnight mark.

Indeed, the musician-turned-record label mogul (his Decaydance Records brand has signed everyone from Panic! at the Disco to Cobra Starship to Gym Class Heroes) seized the late night spotlight to host the band's official after party at
Eden nightclub.

Taking charge of the venue's own sound system, Wentz easily amped-up the assembled crowd of twenty-ish fans with a personal DJ set (and several playful blasts from Eden's smoke machines). The energy pulsing through the rooftop space was made all the more potent by several complimentary rounds of specialty cocktails courtesy of evening sponsor
Belvedere vodka.

Thanks for the memories.
