Washington Gathers At Luigi Parasmo Salon One-Year Anniversary Party

GEORGETOWN -- For more than 30 years now, renowned hairstylist Luigi Parasmo has been beautifying the world's fashionistas having worked with everyone from Diane von Furstenberg to Valentino to Armani to Versace.



And last night it was his many clients turn to repay the favor by crowding the walls of his eponymous Wisconsin Avenue salon with a sea of stylish guests, as they helped him celebrate the one-year anniversary of his newest workspace.



Joined by co-owner Javier Calvo, Parasmo welcomed more than 150 Washingtonians and kept them lingering well into the stormy night with a live DJ set by Steve Starks of Nouveau Riche fame.


With the space's hair washing stations serving double duty as ice buckets, guests enjoyed complimentary champagne and wine and passed hors d'oeuvres as they toasted the continued success of the business.



Paper might be the official one-year anniversary gift, but Parasmo wouldn't accept any such presents. The return of his many long-time clients the next day would be more than thanks enough.
