NORTHWEST -- Fresh from its win as the Power Spot of the Year during the 2013 RAMMY Awards, P.J. Clarke's is putting some of its political muscle to work for a tasty worthy cause.

On Thursday, July 25th, the venerable K Street restaurant and bar will host its inaugural Lobster Feast, with a portion of proceeds earmarked for Bike to the Beach for Autism.

Each guest will get to dive into a plate of twin Maine lobsters, traditionally boiled, New England style, with heaping side orders of red bliss potatoes, corn on the cob, and garlic bread (don't forget the butter). Warm peach cobbler will be served for dessert and there's an unlimited Palm beer and Bombay Sapphire cocktail bar to wash it all down -- all for a scant $75/person.

Beyond obviously leaving satiated, attendees will also depart P.J. Clarke's with a warm and fuzzy feeling, content in the knowledge that they had also done something good. As the beneficiary to the Lobster Feast, Bike to the Beach will leverage the funds raised to continue raising awareness of the developmental disease, autism.

Since 2007, the nonprofit has raised more than $1,100,000 promoting physical exercise, creativity, hard work, and volunteering in support of its mission to couple fundraising for autism with a vibrant, fun, and energetic biking community.

An accomplishment even a lobster would cheer. Almost at least...
