George Celebrates Fourth Anniversary; 'Back Alley Cave Vibe'/Dinner Menu As Popular As Ever

GEORGETOWN -- With hundreds of birthday, alumni, and holiday celebrations under its belt -- not to say anything of the constant stream of private events it plays host to each week -- popular neighborhood restaurant and tavern George is certainly no stranger to special occasions.

Yet the Prospect Street hotspot will likely find itself engulfed in a certain degree of added fervor Thursday evening, as it fetes its own four year anniversary with a blowout bash for friends, family, and customers.

The merriment kicks-off tonight with a private pre-party for a select group of VIPs at 8pm boasting free-flowing champagne and what will surely be a never-ending stream of toasts in honor of the venue's pioneering 'back alley cave vibe'.

George then opens its doors at 10:00p.m. to regular 'list' members (those not on the regular door list can RSVP via Facebook to gain admission) for a late night celebration that will see complimentary 'Georange Crush' signature cocktails on offer until closing.

Of course, for those guests that skipped dinner, the venue's kitchen will remain open throughout with piping hot plates of Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Pot Pie, and other comfort food favorites available.
