GEORGETOWN -- Long known for its understated decor and relaxed atmosphere, popular Georgetown bar
Smith Point temporarily decided to flip convention on its head on Saturday night during its first black light party.
Billed as a party for the staff's favorite customers (everyone was invited, really), the invitation promised that things would 'get a little weird' and that they did.
Graffiti was painted on the walls surrounding the dance floor and Jello shots, coupled with the beats being doled out by
DJ German Vivas, ensured that said floor was constantly in use.
Body paint was splashed on liberally (sometimes too liberally and with too much splashing) and the ensuing rainbow of Nantucket reds and neon greens mingling about made for a colorful evening to say the least.
