GEORGETOWN -- All judgment over who had been naughty or nice during 2013 was left at the door to Paper Moon Restaurant late Thursday night. And while cocktails for a cause -- any cause -- is always a worthy outing, the evening wasn't about that either.
Rather, last week's annual ' Mistletoe & Cocktails' celebration was just a good time for good time's sake. Nothing more complicated than that.
The private holiday affair draws primarily a young Georgetown audience, as it traces its roots some eleven years ago back to the surrounding neighborhood.
The hosts for 2013 were Fritz Brogan, Win Huffman, and Fitz Holladay -- all well-known D.C. bon vivants with strong ties to the city's young professional, social, and charitable communities.
Holiday attire was strongly encouraged, but a dress code was never enforced. It just wasn't that kind of party.
As for whether or not there was any carousing going on underneath the mistletoe, well, for an answer to that you'll have to score an invite to Year 12.
