The Guest List:
NORTH BETHESDA, Md. -- Federal Realty is poised for another redevelopment homerun, as the market-leading real estate investment trust's vision for North Bethesda gradually comes to fruition, literally brick-by-brick.

The latest milestone in the company's 'rePIKEalization' of the White Flint District was last week's formal grand opening celebration for the PerSei luxury apartment complex.

The brand new, four-story property serves as one of the cornerstones for Federal's rapidly growing Pike & Rose neighborhood, with 174 apartments available for rent in various studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations.

Thursday's party took full advantage of PerSei's fireplace terrace, expansive pool area, and posh residential lounge, with many guests eagerly leaving work early to beat the rush hour traffic to the celebration, which was co-sponsored by DC Magazine.

Nearby restaurant Del Frisco's Grille, the first to open at Pike & Rose and itself barely just a few weeks old, provided the delicious fuel that kept attendees energized throughout the event.

And live performers, including a few sets by D.C.-based progressive hip-hop artist Christylez Bacon, kept everyone entertained as they mixed and mingled throughout the property (apartment tours were, of course, available upon request).

Many of PerSei's units are, in fact, already rented-out in a telling sign of the huge consumer interest in the area. Indeed, residents will soon have a bevy of new neighbors when Federal's 18-story Pallas residential building opens next year.

Something big is indeed coming down the Pike. And it's almost here.
