NORTHWEST -- Along with the first day of school and the arrival of cooler weather, September saw the launch of the new fall television schedule. Now in its tenth season, NBC's
The Apprentice returned to the airwaves on Thursday night with a 90-minute debut.
In order to celebrate the occasion, D.C. native
Steuart Martens -- who also happens to be a current contestant on the show -- hosted a premiere party at the award-winning
Hudson Restaurant & Lounge last night.
With
SVEDKA vodka serving as the evening's sponsor, guests were treated to a special themed cocktail menu, including the following drinks:
- "The Donald" - SVEDKA Vodka Up; Served Dirty With Olives.
- "Stu-Tini" - SVEDKA Cherry, Lime Juice, Triple Sec & Cranberry; Topped With A Maraschino Cherry.
- "You're Fired" - SVEDKA Vodka & Sprite; Served With A Splash Of Triple Sec.
Glasses of wine that are featured on the show were also available, as was Hudson's always tasty dinner menu.
Martens' family owns D.C.'s
eponymous Volvo/Volkswagon dealership and Steuart himself is a serial entrepreneur -- all of which should serve him well when he is inevitably called before the Donald inside the show's boardroom.
While there is no telling when or if Steuart will be "fired" from the show, Hudson will be hosting viewing parties every week until the inevitable conclusion (as victor or victim).
Good luck Steu!
