NORTHWEST -- With an atrium as large as the one found at the base of the Ronald Reagan Building, it can be difficult to host a party that fills the entire room. But that was clearly not the case on Saturday night during Capitol File Magazine’s 6th annual after party following the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
 Co-hosted by parent company Niche Media Founder Jason Binn, Publisher Sarah Schaffer, and Editor-in-Chief Kate Bennett, the crowded late night celebration was organized in conjunction with The Creative Coalition and sponsored by Bing (Microsoft’s search engine).   Guests began streaming into the building around 10:00p.m., but the party didn’t really start swinging until the celebrities from the dinner started to arrive about an hour later. Among the faces walking the carpet were: Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder and his wife Dr. Sharon Malone, Gilt Groupe founder Kevin Ryan, Glee’s Chris Colfer, Mad Love’s Jason Biggs, Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg, Torchwood’s Mekhi Phifer, and plenty of other members of The Creative Coalition.   While a special “Bing Lounge” had been setup for some of the more recognizable names in attendance, most so-called VIPs happily mingled about the atrium posing for photographs with fans. And a steady flow of specialty cocktails (the “Bingtini”, “Recession Proof”, “Oval Office”) and a table topped with Crumbs Bake Shop cupcakes ensured that no one went home thirsty or hungry.
