GEORGETOWN -- After more than three decades as the Washington metropolitan area's leading talent management group,
T∙H∙E Artist Agency is opening up its prized talent portfolio and business rolodex to industry insiders and fashion newcomers alike, with the launch of a new behind-the-scenes online network.
Best known for helping guide the careers of many of the city's top fashion models, stylists, and hair-and-makeup artists, T∙H∙E has built an enviable roster of designer, retail, and media clients over the years. The agency's talent is quietly represented at virtually all new luxury boutique openings (Carolina Herrera, Dior, etc.) and in the pages of every monthly lifestyle publication in the region.
In launching both a new
online blog and
YouTube channel last week, the company hopes to demystify the inner workings of the company and help followers navigate the fashion world from its unique insider's perspective.
Friends and family of T∙H∙E gathered on the mezzanine level of
The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown on Thursday evening to toast the christening of the new network, as well as the agency's 32nd anniversary.
"So much has happened over 32 years in the business and we are thrilled to be able to share our insights and perspectives," said founder and company president
Lynda Erkiletian. "I feel the network will allow us to reach beyond our city and share our information on a global scale. "
